Roles and Responsibilities
- Murex Market Risk Specialist with strong experience in configuring and supporting Murex Risk modules (MRA, VaR, SIMM, Greeks).
- You will manage market risk setup, reporting, and regulatory alignment across Front Office, Risk, and IT.
Key Responsibilities :
Configure and support Murex Risk Engine (MRA), VaR, Greeks, Risk Matrices, SIMM.Maintain market data (curves, vol surfaces, historical data) and validate pricing / risk results.Support P&L Explain, sensitivities, stress testing, limits monitoring.Build / automate risk reports (Datamart, SQL, Python) and support regulatory requirements (Basel III, FRTB, SIMM).Troubleshoot risk workflows and collaborate with FO / Risk / IT teams.Requirements :
5+ years Murex risk experience (MRA, Simulation, Risk Matrices, VaR).Strong knowledge of market risk, Greeks, VaR, stress testing, P&L Explain.Exposure to IR, FX, Equity, Credit, Commodities, Options.SQL, Python or Shell scripting, Datamart, market data setup.Familiarity with Basel III, FRTB, SIMM / SA-CCR frameworks.=======================================Position Title

Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced and independent Murex 3.1 Environment Engineer to lead technical support and infrastructure activities.
This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Murex versions 50 and above.
The ideal candidate understands Murex architecture in depth and can create, configure, and troubleshoot environments from scratch, not just maintain existing setups.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage Murex 3.1 environments across DEV / UAT / PROD Own environment orchestration, configuration, and service lifecycle.Troubleshoot Level 1 and 2 issues involving the application, DB, and infrastructurePerform environment upgrades, patching, and environment cloningLead technical investigations and root cause analysis for stability and performanceCoordinate with internal stakeholders to support development and release cyclesRequirements :
6+ years of direct experience with Murex 3.1 (v50 and above)Deep understanding of Murex infrastructure and architectureStrong troubleshooting expertise (logs, services, batch jobs, DB connectivity)Capable of designing and building new environments (not just running pre-built setups)Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal oversightStrong Unix / Linux OS knowledgeAdvanced Shell scripting skills, Python scripting is a strong plusExperience with Oracle and / or Sybase (SQL, connection tuning, performance)Familiarity with job schedulers, crontab, autosys, and batch orchestrationKnowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.
