Strategic Development Manager

UKG is seeking a highly motivated sales professional as a Strategic Development Manager who will be responsible for net-new logo sales in the mid-market space. If you are a highly successful HRMS / Payroll salesperson and have followed the growing success of our company, then you know that we rarely have an opening in our sales ranks. Why? Because we hire only the best HRMS / Payroll Reps and arm them with the best products, support personnel, and tools to ensure long-term success with us. Candidates typically have 3-5 years of proven success selling HRMS / Payroll solutions. Ideally, candidates will live in or near their territory and are familiar with the local business climate, however, we encourage you to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed sales quotas
  • Must have proven success selling HRMS / Payroll solutions to complex organizations
  • Must have worked primarily as a New Logo Rep (Hunter) and consistently exceeded sales quotas. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of solutions, technology and capabilities to solve customer challenges and help them achieve stated business outcomes.
  • Present HCM products and services to final decision makers and end users within an assigned territory.
  • Identify sales opportunities and develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on HCM, Payroll solutions and services aligned with the prospective customer's needs.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of HCM / SaaS Industry, competitors and analysts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and capabilities, incorporating technical advances in presentations to end users
  • Present HCM products and services to final decision makers and end users within an assigned territory
  • Incredibly organized
  • Experience with a diversity of prospecting strategies
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven success selling HCM / Payroll solutions
  • Travel Requirement

  • 30-40%

    Pay Transparency

    The base salary range for this position is $115,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for commissions and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation. Information about UKG's comprehensive benefits can be reviewed on our careers site.
