If you are a dedicated Paramedic driven to provide exceptional, empathetic patient care, we have an exciting full-time / part-time opportunity for you! We offer a remarkable up to $12.5k sign-on bonus / relocation with a one-year commitment.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate each emergency call to determine the most effective course of action while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols.

Apply your expertise in operating medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen apparatus, suction devices, and intravenous fluids for top-notch medical support.

Engage with patients and their families to provide updates and reassurance about the care being offered.

Lead the Paramedic team, ensuring effective scene and unit management as required.

Safely drive the ambulance during emergency 911 responses.

Collaborate professionally with allied healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.

Participate in community initiatives to enhance the AMR image and build strong local relationships.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Valid State Paramedic License.

Current State Driver's License.

Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NREMT-Paramedic.

Satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy.

Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.

Some experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Working Conditions : Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required. You will spend significant time inside the ambulance, and may work under various weather conditions. Expect exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional dimly lit environments.

Physical Demands : The role involves moderate to significant amounts of sitting, standing, and walking, including lifting over 200 lbs with assistance. You will need to engage in physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, and stair climbing. Clear visual and auditory communication is essential, and you may need to wear a face mask or respirator for extended periods if necessary.

Mental Requirements : Strong critical thinking skills are essential, enabling you to assess situations and make effective decisions under pressure. You may encounter high-stress scenarios that require resilience and composure.
