Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Neuro Telemetry unit provides skilled nursing care to patients, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and effective communication with patients and providers. The RN may float between units and work weekends as required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Neuro Telemetry unit.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Float between units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in Neuro Telemetry or related specialty
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between units.
- Must be willing to work weekends (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
- The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit-specific scrub attire.
