Labor & Delivery RN Job Details - Medford, OR Location : Medford, OR 97504 (Southern Oregon healthcare jobs) Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care Hospital - 8-bed LDRP unit Position Type : Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (18 : 00 - 06 : 30), 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2230-$2390 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Float Requirement : May float between units and affiliate hospitals On-Call : Required for low census per contract EMR : Epic charting system Parking : Free onsite parking Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licensure accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Certifications : BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, STABLE Proficiency with Epic EMR Reliable vehicle for assignment Ability to float between units and affiliate hospitals Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery patients (36 weeks gestation) Assist with Cesarean Sections, vaginal deliveries, and post-surgical GYN patient care Perform triage, assessment, and monitoring of obstetrical patients Utilize external fetal monitoring and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Conduct sterile vaginal exams, spiral electrode placement, and advanced L&D procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response) Float to sister facilities as needed to support patient care Experience the flexibility of travel nursing and make a difference in maternal and newborn care in Medford, Oregon.
