Job Overview
Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
Skills
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autismKnowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniquesMust have a high school diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical recordsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be at least 18 years of ageJoining our team as a Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to grow your skills in behavioral health while making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay : $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
