California Workers' Compensation Counsel

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Staff Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Independently represents the Employer / Carrier in administrative hearings on litigated workers' compensation claims

Analyzes legal issues, conducts legal research, and develops defense strategies

Prepares pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies

Required Qualifications

State licensed attorney in California

Knowledge of Workers' Compensation statutes and their application

1+ years of workers' compensation litigation experience
