Must-Have : Experience with STEMI cases

Description :

Position available for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse.

Shifts will be 4x10 hours from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.

Weekend shifts will be required as needed, usually every other weekend.

On-call duty is required, with an expectation of being available 18 days during an 8-week period.

Travelers may be expected to float to pre and post Cath Lab areas as needed.

Blocked scheduling is not permitted.

Local candidates are accepted.

Pre-approval is required for time off requests.

Guaranteed hours per week are 40, with a possibility of call-offs.

Candidates need experience with high acuity cases due to a small call team structure.

The care team usually consists of one RN and two techs.

Familiarity with both GE and Phillips equipment is required.

Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients, with an average of 4 visits per day.

Procedures may include EVAR, TEVAR, PCI, stenting, and EP lab work.

Candidates should be proficient in at least two of the following areas : cardiac interventional, endovascular aneurysm procedures, and EP lab.

Candidates must complete compliance testing promptly.

Two professional references are required prior to starting the position.

This role includes potential floating to other areas based on the organization's needs.

Candidates must be comfortable with floating without restrictions or special requests.
