- . New Car Manager Job Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
Maintain optimal new vehicle inventory levels based on market conditions.
Coordinate with manufacturers for vehicle orders and allocations.Ensure vehicles are properly prepared and displayed digitally and on the lot.Sales OperationsSet and achieve monthly and annual sales goals based on market conditions and OEM requirements.
Supervise sales team to drive new car sales to achieve sales objectives (including traffic oversight, hiring, training, closing, and performance reviews).Monitor and support sales processes to ensure high closing ratios.Customer RelationsHandle escalated customer issues or complaints.
Promote high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Ensure a seamless customer experience from test drive to delivery.Team LeadershipTrain and coach sales consultants on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Conduct regular sales meetings and provide performance feedback.Foster a competitive and team-oriented work environment.Marketing & PromotionCoordinate advertising and promotional activities for new vehicles.
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and special events.Monitor market trends and competitor activity.Financial OversightManage new car department budgets and profitability.
Review and approve deals to ensure compliance with pricing, discounts, and profit margins.Work with the finance department to optimize deal structures.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain accurate sales and inventory records.Ensure proper documentation and processing of new car sales.Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in automotive sales management, preferably in new vehiclesProven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading successful teamsStrong knowledge of inventory management and vehicle appraisal processesExcellent communication, leadership, and customer service skillsExperience with dealership CRM and DMS softwareValid driver's license and clean driving recordWhat We Offer :
