Job Details : \n

  • Work 10-hour day shifts as CATH LAB / IR TECH

    • \n

  • Handle 8-12 case caseload daily

    • \n

  • On-call required : 15 shifts per month with weekend call (1 full weekend per month)

    • \n

  • STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guaranteed

    • \n

  • Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in IR (required)

    • \n

  • No floating between units

    • \n

  • Block schedule not accommodated

    • \n

  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • \n

  • Perform elective caths (diagnostic and interventions), RHC, STEMI, IABP and pacemaker procedures

    • \n

  • Skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion / programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, scrub maintenance of sterile field, and temporary pacemaker

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License or RCIS

    • \n

  • 3 years of experience required with Trauma Level I experience

    • \n

  • Scrubs provided by facility

    • \n

  • Charting systems : Cerner and McKesson

    • \n

  • Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine and cotinine testing

    • \n

  • Modules required during orientation (4-6 hours, non-billable)

    • \n

  • Must be gone 1 year if returning staff
