Our client is seeking a Technical Support & Product Lifecycle Specialist to be the internal technical expert for their electronic technology products post-launch. In this critical, cross-functional role, you'll ensure product performance, safety, and customer satisfaction by bridging the gap between engineering, customer service, and manufacturing. You'll be joining them at an exciting time as they're launching a new, innovative home water processing system that utilizes specialized electronic components.
If you're a hands-on problem-solver with a strong engineering background and a passion for customer success, this is a fantastic opportunity! Experience with home appliances is a plus, but strong general experience with electronics and complex systems is what they're looking for.
What You'll Do :

You'll manage updates to design-critical specifications to maintain product integrity, particularly for the new water processing system.
- Be the Technical Customer Support Liaison : Serve as the primary technical point of contact for complex customer issues, participating in live calls and email threads to diagnose and resolve technical concerns. You'll also identify recurring issues, recommend engineering solutions, and provide training to empower the Customer Service team.
- Manage Manufacturer & Supplier Interface : Act as a key technical liaison with manufacturing partners, leading design discussions, managing part substitutions, and assessing changes to ensure quality and compliance. You'll attend weekly engineering calls and request necessary verification data or testing.
- Ensure Documentation & Compliance : Maintain and revise Global Product Specifications, ensuring all changes are traceable, aligned with claims and clinical data, and comply with regulatory requirements. You'll support Quality and Regulatory teams during audits and with CAPAs.
- Facilitate Internal Workflow & General Support : Implement efficient turnaround times for design reviews, escalate critical changes to stakeholders, and collaborate with global colleagues across different time zones. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.
What You'll Bring : - Required :

- 4+ years of experience in technical support, sustaining engineering, or a product lifecycle role.
- Hands-on experience with engineering change processes and PLM systems (Arena PLM preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware / software issues in complex consumer or medical-grade products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in customer-facing interactions.
- Preferred :
- Familiarity with water systems, filtration technologies, or light-based wellness / medical devices.
- Experience working with home appliances or similar consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, or other regulated environments.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers in Asia.
