Principal Cloud Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Cloud Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data architectures and data pipelines for high-volume datasets

Establish and enforce data governance and quality control measures for data accuracy and integrity

Guide and mentor junior / senior data engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to create actionable data solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field

8+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer with increasing levels of responsibility

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles

Proven experience with designing and implementing data pipelines using GCP BigQuery or similar cloud platforms

Experience with cloud deployment and automation tools like Terraform
