Job description

Electromechanical Assembler

Econolite is an innovator of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) solutions, products, and services. Our technology helps save lives and makes the Smart City a reality. We are looking for a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler to join our team.

The successful candidate will perform electronic and mechanical assembly, software installation, and testing of traffic controller products. Experience with electrical components and assembly is preferred, along with a knack for troubleshooting and repair.

DUTIES

  • Follow work instructions for electronic and mechanical assembly of traffic controllers.
  • Conduct bench and environmental tests, reporting any failures or issues.
  • Install software on controllers.
  • Label products and subassemblies appropriately.
  • Package traffic controllers for shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of experience in electronic and mechanical assembly and testing preferred.
  • Technical training and certification are a plus.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic assembly tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions with precision.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, and bend for extended periods.
  • Handle small components and use hand tools effectively.
  • Perform repetitive tasks like screwing and soldering.
  • Lift up to 35 pounds.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position involving electrical components.

    • PRE-EMPLOYMENT

    All candidates will undergo background checks and drug screening.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $22.00, plus benefits. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, holidays, medical / dental / vision plans, 401(k) with match, and voluntary benefits like identity theft protection.
