Active NY license | DEA Board certified | Board eligible ACL | PALS NuHealth System, Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is the region’s premier Level I Trauma Center and a well-regarded teaching hospital. Nassau University Medical Center, a 530-bed tertiary care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center, has been a pillar of the community for 85 years. Of those years, 60 have been dedicated to medical education. With 10 ORs, NUMC has extensive medical and surgical capabilities. In addition to its affiliation with the growing Northwell Health System, it is creating onsite partnerships with some of the region’s top specialists. The hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services and treats some of the area’s most critically ill patients. Nassau County on Long Island has some of the world's most beautiful beaches. The ocean's proximity and abundance of farms in East Meadow help produce some of thebest restaurantson the East Coast.
