Hazmat Qualified Operator
Project Overview : We are commencing a new project and are seeking a Hazmat qualified operator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers. This role demands dedication, commitment, and a strong emphasis on safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate extended reach forklifts and skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Handle hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety.
- Coordinate with the project team to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Conduct site assessments and participate in safety meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond to emergencies and hazardous material spills following established procedures.
Requirements
Requirements :
Certification : Must have completed 40 hours of HAZWOPER training with an 8-hour refresher.Experience : Prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers.Skills : Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling.Attributes : Dedication, commitment, and a high regard for safety.Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions.Preferred Qualifications :
