Speech Language Pathologist [79969]

We’re partnering with a school district in Will County, IL to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term assignment. This role is to cover a staff leave and may be extended beyond December depending on district needs.

About the Role :

As a School-Based SLP, you will primarily provide services at the Early Learning Center (PreK), with possible support at other schools in the district. You will work with a caseload of fewer than 40 students, providing direct therapy services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with teachers and families to support students’ speech and language development.

Position Details :

Location : In-person, Will County, IL

Schedule : Full-time, 8 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Start Date : October 13, 2025

End Date : End of December 2025 (possibility of extension)

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK and elementary students according to their IEPs
• Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and evaluations as required
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
• Provide consultative support to classroom staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment
