Expert Software Engineer with Security Clearance

The base salary range for this position is $262,000 to $426,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION MissionEdge Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. Minimum Required Qualifications :

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Prior to interview a Letter of Intent must be signed.
• Active TS / SCI w / polygraph
• A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of eleven (11) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets :
• Must have 5-7 years programming experience in Java
• Experience with computer networking, network automation
• Experience operating in a CI / CD / DevOps / Agile environment
• Enterprise software requirements specification and management
• Software Integration, defect management, and remediation
• Software maintenance, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
• Must be a self-starter that can lead complex projects
• Ability to serve as part of a software development team to deliver automated solutions for standard network services support of a large IT infrastructure project Desired / Preferred Skills :
• Hands on experience using Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
• Cloud design for software, implementation, and configuration
• Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks Working Conditions : Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager / Hiring Manager. Physical Requirements : May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
