Team : In-House Brand Creative (Reporting to a Creative Director)
Discord is seeking a Senior Copywriter with B2B and gaming expertise to help define and evolve its developer-facing brand identity . This is a creative leadership role where you'll shape messaging and storytelling for Discord’s B2B initiatives, especially targeting game studios, developers, and industry partners .

- Lead B2B Creative Strategy : Collaborate with the Creative Director to set the tone and voice for Discord’s developer marketing.
- Concept + Execute Campaigns : Create compelling copy for digital, video, social, events, and experiential channels targeting game developers and studios.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work with marketing, product, design, and community teams to maintain brand cohesion across all platforms.
- Audience Alignment : Understand the needs, culture, and language of Discord’s developer community and speak directly to them.
- Agency & Partner Management : Coordinate with external creatives, developers, influencers, and production teams to execute big ideas.
- Project Ownership : From concept to final asset delivery—manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and brand standards.
What You Bring
10+ years in creative copywriting, with 3–5+ years in B2B or developer-focused workA strong portfolio that proves your ability to craft engaging, smart B2B work—ideally for tech, gaming, or creative toolsDeep familiarity with gaming culture , trends, and terminologyExperience building campaigns across digital, video, events, social, and experientialExcellent storytelling, strategy, and senior stakeholder communication skillsPrevious success working both in-house and with external agencies or production teamsAbility to turn complex technical ideas into simple, compelling copyExperience working in or closely with a game development studioPassion for Discord and the developer / gaming ecosystemFluency in trends across digital media, gaming content, and brand storytellingExperience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma , or knowledge of the creative production processExperience contributing to event marketing or live campaignsWork at the intersection of gaming, technology, and creative storytellingInfluence how millions of developers and studios engage with one of the most culturally significant platforms in gamingCollaborate with passionate creatives in a culture that values both strategy and soulEnjoy competitive compensation, stock options, and benefits—all while working remotely#J-18808-Ljbffr
