Oversee and manage crews, ensure job quality and safety, complete required project documentation and train new employees.

FIELD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Set up and operate water blasting equipment and vac trucks
• Perform confined space entry
• Drive any and all vehicles as needed including those with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Inspect, use and maintain various personal protection equipment including chemical protective suits, respiratory protections equipment, safety harnesses and air monitoring equipment.
• Setup and operate various hand-held and hand-operated equipment
• Work in a variety of work environments including chemical plants, metal
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSR guidelines.
• Maintain hours of service logs (when required) accurately and up-to-date.
• Identify and ensure write-ups of defective equipment on trucks.
• Check all load-related paperwork prior to movement of load to ensure completeness and accuracy including Manifests, Bill of Lading, Land Disposal Restriction forms, etc.
• Ensure proper placarding of waste hauling vehicle.
• Ensure professional and safe operation of vehicles while on customer property and over the road.

CDL class A or B with tanker and haz endorsements required

Hazwoper and Confined Space training preferred
