Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced in acute care and pain management, with ARRT-R and BLS certifications required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a pain management department within a hospital
  • Work involves all aspects of diagnostic imaging, including surgery and trauma cases
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Potential floating to any affiliated locations within a 60-mile radius based on facility needs
  • Uses Epic EMR for documentation
  • Performs high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring patient and personal safety following ALARA principles
  • Provides quality patient care, prepares patients for exams, and assists during procedures
  • Acts as a resource and leader for students and other technologists
  • Administers IVs and contrast as required and assists with patient transport
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment, performing quality checks, and documenting maintenance
  • Must comply with hospital protocols, including FLU vaccination requirements during flu season
  • Only non-local candidates considered; must reside more than 60 miles from assignment location

  • ARRT-R certification required (Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) ARRT)
  • BLS certification from AHA required
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care radiologic technologist experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging, including surgery and trauma settings, is required
  • License required if applicable
