What Youll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the government facility.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying authorization of individuals entering the government facility.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, assisting with incident resolution as needed.

Remain alert to potential threats and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain a professional presence while interacting with staff, visitors, and the public, upholding the standards of Allied Universal at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
