Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Floresville, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Staff PERMANENT Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) – Full Time, Nights Floresville, TX Pay Range : $28.99–$46.00 / hr (based on experience) Job Description : Seeking a dedicated Med-Surg RN for a full-time night shift role. This position floats across medical-surgical areas and supports multiple patient populations while delivering high-quality, goal-directed nursing care. Responsibilities :

• Float throughout Med-Surg units to provide patient care as assigned
• Manage individualized nursing plans using the nursing process
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per established standards
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Respond to emergent patient needs and life-saving situations
• Educate patients and families based on individualized plans
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Rotate through various areas including surgery, orthopedics, outpatient, pediatrics, and admitting
• Participate in department quality improvement activities
• Willingness to serve as Charge RN when needed Requirements :
• Active Texas or Compact RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred)
• CPR & ACLS required; TNCC / ATCN and ENPC / PALS preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Med-Surg clinical experience (3 years considered with strong recommendations)
• Strong clinical assessment abilities; able to care for multiple patients
• Flexibility to shift across patient care areas Schedule :
