The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team. You’ll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives at home and in the community.
Pay : $17.00 per hour -Incentive pay $1.50 extra an hour (except 3rd shift)
Locations : Bowling Green, OH
Available Schedules : Full-Time 2nd shift - 2 PM – 10 PM
Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives :
- Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
- Assist with personal care : ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
- Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
- Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
- Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings
- Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
- Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
- Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
- Participate in required paid training and team meetings
Qualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are :
