Senior Payroll Accountant

Focus Search LLC is recruiting for a Senior Accountant (Payroll) with a global logistics company in Seattle. This role will oversee payroll accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in alignment with GAAP. This role is responsible for managing the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports, while analyzing variances and driving process improvements. They will serve as a subject matter expert on payroll and benefits, lead cross-functional projects, and document standard operating procedures to strengthen operational clarity.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong background in payroll
• Advanced Excel and large-scale ERP experience highly preferred

Salary Range : $95-105k
