Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join our elite team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent Anderson to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights :

Our candidate will join an established and well respected practice alongside 3 experienced GI physicians with a tenured support staff

Our ideal candidate will be BC / BE, preferably with advanced endoscopic skills such as ERCP

Additional opportunities include treating patients with IBD, obesity and hepatitis management

1 : 5 call

We have an extremely strong St. Vincent referral base which will allow our candidate to develop a busy practice quickly

Responsibilities :

Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.

Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
