Job Title : Summer Intern - Manufacturing

Job Summary :

The Milliken Summer Intern position gives rising university juniors or seniors an opportunity to work on a significant process improvement project in a manufacturing environment. This position is located at the Hillcrest Plant in Simpsonville, SC. You will report directly to a manager - either a Senior Process Engineer or a Process Improvement Manager. The position is hourly paid. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm. The summer intern program begins in mid-May and ends the first week of August.

• Manage a manufacturing related project for results
• Determine solutions using continuous improvement techniques
• Demonstrate creative thinking by identifying unique approaches to problem solving
• Communicate effectively one-to-one and one-to-a-group
• Work effectively with a diverse group of people to implement project improvements
