The Pulp Mill Maintenance Planner has responsibility including the following :

• Must follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
• Plan routine work in order to increase maintenance manpower efficiency and reduce costs.
• Plan shutdown work in order to increase maintenance manpower efficiency, reduce and control costs. Improve uptime in area assigned.
• Order material necessary for planned work.
• Schedule and direct work when manpower and materials are available and circumstances (priority) dictate.
• Develop, schedule, and follow up on preventive maintenance programs.
• Plan and schedule outside contractor work for shutdowns and large projects.
• Plan and manage small capital projects.
