Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardio Sonographer for day shifts with at least 1 year of recent cardiology experience and an active license if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the EKG / Cardiology department
  • Day shifts, 5x8 hours, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
  • Up to 5 days of time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
  • Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but the compensation may be adjusted
  • After 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts, candidates must separate from the local facility for one year or transfer to another facility beyond a 50-mile radius

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in EKG / Cardiology sonography
  • Active license required if applicable
  • Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless documentation of renewal is provided
  • Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
  • No gaps in employment over 90 days within the past 12 months
