Who You Are :
You are a licensed CPA with deep knowledge of tax strategies with and at least 10 years of experience. You are a technical expert who enjoys helping clients and sharing knowledge with your co-workers when you encounter a unique situation that requires you to research and develop a solution.
You are looking to advance to a Principal and help grow your firm.
Responsibilities :
Apply technical expertise to review increasingly complex tax returns to support team members in meeting client expectationsEngage in tax planning, business planning, and consulting by analyzing proposed transactions and determining tax risk and benefitsUndertake tax research of authoritative and non-authoritative sources using a variety of research platformsUse experience and expertise to provide thought leadership and meaningful recommendations for a broad scope of complicated issuesScope, plan, and manage assignments, leveraging resources for maximum profitabilityShare and transfer knowledge with team members and develop a network of resources within the firm to facilitate the sharing of this informationProvide Senior Associates and Managers with guidance, coaching, and support in career development and area of specialtyAdvise and coach Managers on creating and maintaining effective and motivated team environmentsSupport the Principal team in developing, driving, and participating in initiatives to recruit talented people by identifying resource requirements, participating in career and recruitment forums, conducting interviews, providing time to speak with potential candidates at career forums, and keeping in touch with candidatesDevelop long-term relationships with clients based on ability to add value - advising, supporting, and coaching the clientIdentify client decision triggers and criteria and integrate these into the proposal processApply knowledge of the firm's services, systems, and processes to identify the most appropriate sales opportunities with clients and refer them to specialists and divisions within the firmSupport the Principal team in generating and pursuing new business opportunities and, mindful of the prevailing business environment and the opportunities it may create for consulting opportunitiesWrite and publish articles with the research and assistance of Associates and Senior AssociatesRequired Skills :
