Scope of Work : The Cook II is responsible for independently preparing and cooking large quantities of food in a high-volume dining facility, ensuring quality, consistency, and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook large quantities of food independently using a variety of methods in accordance with Army recipes and local menu plans.
• Ensure proper portion control, plating, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Complete all side work, setup, and breakdown duties as assigned.
