Job Description

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers for timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
• Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Essential Job Skills

Prior Experience

Minimum 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred; proven sales ability; team leadership experience.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Certificates

ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

Mostly walking or standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with or without accommodation.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor with occasional outdoor work under various weather conditions; exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise.

Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.

Compensation Range

$19.95 - $21.95 per hour.
