Descripción del puesto

Luma Pictures busca un Mid to Senior Level Animator con experiencia demostrable para incorporarse a su equipo. La posición involucra dar vida a personajes, criaturas y objetos por medio de animación key frame . El profesional colaborará estrechamente con el Animation Supervisor para asegurar que las animaciones se integren perfectamente en los planos finales de efectos visuales.

Requisitos

  • Mínimo 5+ años de experiencia en animación de personajes para cine y series.
  • Dominio de Maya (obligatorio).
  • Sólido conocimiento de principios de animación y performance de criaturas / personajes.
  • Experiencia en motion capture y animación por keyframes.
  • Capacidad para integrarse a equipos, seguir direcciones de líderes y supervisores.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y gestión del tiempo.

Competencias Clave

  • Animar personajes realistas, criaturas, cámaras y objetos que se integren creíblemente en escenas de acción real.
  • Comprensión de mecánica corporal, peso, timing y performance .
  • Interacción con los equipos de matchmove, rigging y layout para asegurar la robustez técnica de los assets de animación.
  • Capacidad para producir gran volumen de planos y múltiples iteraciones de manera ágil y precisa.
  • Mantener continuidad en los planos y consistencia en la performance.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con el Animation Supervisor y Animation Lead para cumplir plazos y expectativas creativas.

    • Plus valorados

  • Familiaridad con FTrack, ShotGrid u otras herramientas de tracking de producción.
  • Conocimientos de rigging o scripting (Python, MEL).
  • Experiencia previa en largometrajes high-end y contenido episódico.
  • Familiaridad con Unreal Engine o flujos de animación en tiempo real.
  • Interés por el storytelling , desarrollo de personajes y animación basada en la interpretación.
  • Conocimiento práctico en Rigging valorado.
