Job Purpose
The Logistics Network Sr. Analyst supports AHM’s mission by ensuring the Finished Vehicles Logistics Network operates cost-effectively, enabling timely and efficient vehicle delivery processes that aligns with customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and strategic business objectives.
This role plays a crucial part in the supply chain operations by analyzing data and creating efficient logistics plans.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage optimizing the North American transportation network by analysing and modelling domestic and export routes—considering cost, transit time, quality, and sustainability.
- Leverage tools such as Power BI, internal rate / routing software, and external network modelling software to identify opportunities for cost and time reductions.
- Conduct comparative cost and efficiency analysis of port, truck, and rail options to support diversion planning and dynamic network design.
- Maintain a centralized system to track contracts and rate agreements to support operational efficiency.
- Design and manage dashboards and visual maps to monitor cost per unit, volume, and flow by dealer, railhead, port, and plants.
- Evaluate and analyze vendor proposal (RFP, contract extensions, negotiations) to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of products.
- Generate and deliver detailed reports and insights to support cost analysis and continuous network improvement
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field is required5+ years in logistics planning or operations (Finished Vehicle Logistics preferred)Experience with contract management and vendor coordination3+ years working with large, complex data setsProficiency in data visualization and reporting toolsExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex problems.Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly for corporate stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesWorking Conditions
