It Manager
World Architects and Engineers, a dynamic, growth-oriented architectural and engineering firm with headquarters in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee our IT operations, support remote locations, and act as the primary liaison with our third-party IT service provider. This role involves both hands-on technical work and team leadership, ensuring our IT infrastructure and services support business operations across all departments and locations.
Summary Of Position
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's IT operations, including infrastructure, support services, cybersecurity, and vendor management. Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, direction, and administration of all company IT systems and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A / E / C) industry strongly preferred.Proven expertise in :Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Network architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practicesCloud and on-premise infrastructure (WAN / LAN, multi-server environments)Design and collaboration software (Autodesk, Revit, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite)Demonstrated success in leading IT teams and managing vendor relationships.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Experience supporting multi-site environments.Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and telephone.Occasionally lift up to 1520 pounds.Work is performed in a standard office environment with no unusual hazards.
