As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to respond quickly and professionally across the property. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation while helping to create a secure environment for all visitors.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide assistance as needed.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

Communicate and collaborate with retail staff and law enforcement as needed during security-related incidents.

Remain alert and prepared to address any suspicious activity or security-related concerns throughout the shift.

Operate within all applicable regulations, including those related to carrying and handling firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.

A current armed guard card or license is required.

Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
