SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

JBS Live Pork is seeking a highly motivated and analytical summer intern to join our Grain Merchandising team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commodity procurement, market analysis, and supply chain operations within one of the largest pork production systems in the U.S. The intern will support the team in sourcing and managing feed ingredients critical to our live pork operations. This is a paid internship, and housing is provided while enrolled in the program.

Exposure to real-world grain merchandising and procurement strategies. Insight into the integration of feed sourcing with live pork production. Networking opportunities with professionals across JBS business units. A deeper understanding of commodity markets and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of grain and feed ingredients for JBS Live Pork operations.
• Monitor commodity markets, futures, and basis trends to support merchandising strategies.
• Analyze supply and demand fundamentals and assist in developing market outlooks.
• Support logistics coordination for inbound grain shipments to feed mills and production sites.
• Help maintain vendor relationships and assist with contract management and documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with nutrition, production, and logistics teams.
• Complete a summer project focused on improving a process or analyzing a market opportunity, with a final presentation to leadership.
