American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and active ARRT and state licensure for night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a short term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma CenterGeneral radiography in the Emergency Department and inpatient portable imagingServe both pediatric and adult patient populationsUse Fuji ER equipment and Carestream portable x-ray unitsNight shifts (5x8s) from 11 : 30 PM to 8 : 00 AM, with every other weekend requiredAlternating weekly schedule : Week 1 (Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun), Week 2 (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sun)Variable daily caseload based on ER and inpatient needsNo on-call requirementsGeneral radiography responsibilities include performing x-rays in emergency and inpatient settings as neededMust be able to function independently during night shiftsFirst-time travelers acceptedTeal scrubs requiredBlock scheduling requests may be accommodatedReturn staff must be gone 2 years to be considered as travelersPre-start and annual modules (1 hour for allied) must be completedRTO exceeding 7 days requires advance approvalParking available at a cost\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a trauma center or large acute care facilityActive ARRT and state licensures required; pending state license accepted if active before start dateMust be able to work independently in emergency and inpatient portable settingsFluoroscopy permit and proficiency with Fuji ER and Carestream equipment preferredExperience with both pediatric and adult populations requiredEpic charting experience preferredFlu vaccine required with no declinations acceptedCOVID-19 vaccination required; only religious or medical exemptions acceptedMust live at least 75 miles from the facility for travel considerationOne professional reference requiredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
