Overview
Supply Specialist I – MUSC Health. Supply Chain Technician I performs essential materials, distribution, and logistics tasks within Materials Management to support clinical activities. The focus is on determining replenishment requirements, locating, selecting, documenting, issuing, and distributing medical supplies in all hospital floor units. Documenting receipt of and distribution of supplies and equipment are required tasks.

Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes, working from elevated areas, working in confined / cramped spaces, performing from kneeling positions, bending at the waist, twisting at the waist, squatting, pinching operations, gross motor activities with fingers and hands, firm grasping, fine manipulation, reach overhead, repetitive motions with hands / wrists / elbows and shoulders, use both legs, balance and coordination, reach in all directions, lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted, lift / lower objects 50 lbs. from / to floor, lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs, exert up to 50 lbs. of force, maintain 20 / 40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes, see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance, match or discriminate between colors, determine distance / relationship between objects; depth perception, good peripheral vision, maintain hearing acuity, perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements, deal effectively with stressful situations, work rotating shifts, work overtime as required, work in a latex safe environment, maintain tactile sensory functions, maintain good olfactory sensory function, be qualified physically for respirator use.
