TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU / Critical Care RN in Espanola, New Mexico, 87532!

$2,440 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 0700-1930 and 1900-0730

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience :

  • Minimum of two years current experience in specialty.
  • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment is required.

License :

  • State Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License.
  • Certifications :

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) completed through recognized organization.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) completed through recognized organization.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
  • Must pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test within the first week of assignment.
  • Must-Have :

  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the BCA test.
  • Description :

  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.
  • Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
  • Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.
  • Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team.
  • Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.
  • Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy.
  • Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.
  • Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and non-licensed assistive personnel.
  • Completes patient population, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
