Board-Certified OB / GYN Physician

to join our

OB / GYN Hospitalist team

serving patients at

Watsonville Community Hospital .

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) , Salud is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective health care that meets the needs of the diverse communities we serve. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team operating a

24 / 7 OB Hospitalist Program

committed to excellent maternal and women’s health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based

Obstetric and Gynecologic care

for patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.

Collaborate with

Certified Nurse Midwives

and

Family Medicine Physicians

in Labor & Delivery.

Provide

timely consultations

in the Emergency Department.

Serve as a

preceptor for Family Medicine residents

rotating through the department.

Actively participate in

Quality Improvement committees

and hospital governance.

Maintain

continuing education

and professional development to ensure licensure compliance.

Keep all required certifications and licenses current (CA Medical License, CPR, Driver’s License).

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Principles, practices, and procedures in

obstetrics and gynecology , including culturally sensitive patient care, informed consent, and shared decision-making.

Ability To :

Communicate effectively and respectfully with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with staff, clients, community agencies, and the broader medical community.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Valid

California OB / GYN Physician’s and Surgeon’s License

Board Certified or Board Eligible

in OB / GYN

Eligible for

hospital admitting privileges

at Watsonville Community Hospital

Preferred Qualifications :

Bilingual

(Spanish / English)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary :

$343,792.95 – $379,598.34 annually
