Contract Healthcare Attorney
Location : Downtown Los Angeles or Remote
Job Type : Contract or Contract to Hire, Full-Time, Hybrid or Remote
Hourly Rate : $70 to $80 per hour
LHH is collaborating with a boutique law firm in Downtown Los Angeles in seeking an experienced Contract Healthcare Attorney to their dynamic legal team.
The ideal candidate will take a practical and strategic, client-centered approach to legal matters, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation and advice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client-Centered Legal Strategy : Develop and implement practical and strategic legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Litigation Management : Handle complex business, commercial, and healthcare litigation across a wide range of issues, including derivative and corporate governance matters, health plan payment disputes, breach of contract and fiduciary duties, and fraud and professional liability
- Comprehensive Case Management : Oversee all phases of the litigation process, from pre-litigation counseling and strategy through appeal.
- Pre-Litigation Counseling : Provide clients with pre-litigation counseling to develop strategies that mitigate risks and maximize favorable outcomes.
- Litigation Strategy : Formulate and execute litigation strategies that align with client objectives and legal best practices.
- Legal Research and Writing : Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work collaboratively with clients, legal team members, and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications :
- Active membership in good standing with the CA state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare law, with a strong emphasis on litigation.
- Proven track record of handling complex business, commercial, and / or healthcare litigation cases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered legal services.
- Experience with health plan payment disputes and corporate governance matters.
