Genie Reconditioning, LLC specializes in restoring Genie aerial lifts and material handling equipment to like-new condition. We are committed to quality, safety, and efficiency in every machine we deliver. As part of our growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Accounts Payable Clerk performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in our organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Prepare month end reconciliations for A / P related balance sheet accounts
  • General accounts payable functions
  • Check, verify and process invoices
  • Prepare payments for signature
  • Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Assist Accounting Manager in weekly financial projections

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or a related field completed or in progress preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in working in an office setting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Competent oral and written communication skills are required in order to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Computer experience with the following software packages : Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and highly organized

  • Teamwork
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals
  • Must be willing to expand on knowledge and abilities, as needed
