Salary: $25 - $45 per hour

A well-established industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join its team. In this role, you'll play a key part in assembling, maintaining, and repairing a variety of custom pump skids. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, a detail-oriented mindset, and a dedication to safety, quality, and precision.

$25-$45 an hour depending on Experience

Assemble pump skids, including centrifugal, rotary gear, and positive displacement types, to exact specifications.

Install and test mechanical seals to ensure reliable performance and leak prevention.

Perform precision laser alignments on completed pump units.

Trim and balance impellers for smooth and efficient operation.

Conduct comprehensive quality inspections prior to shipment.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve skid performance and serviceability.

Maintain shop inventory and ensure necessary components and materials are available.

Follow all safety procedures and uphold company standards at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, perform detailed hand work, and lift up to 100 lbs.

Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring devices such as dial indicators.

Technical Literacy: Capable of interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.

Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct mechanical issues with precision.

Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pump systems, seals, couplings, and related components.

Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for team collaboration and documentation.

Welding & Fabrication: Experience with welding and metal fabrication for assembly and repair work.
