Our store specializes in a variety of gaming experiences, including Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Pokémon, Magic : The Gathering, One Piece, Lorcana, and more.

Position Overview :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Retail Associate to join our team. In this role, you will help create a positive shopping and gaming experience for customers, assist with store operations, and contribute to sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gaming, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

Greet customers and foster a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Assist shoppers in finding products and answering questions about merchandise.

Promote products, special offers, and in-store events.

Upsell and cross-sell items to enhance the customer experience.

Address and resolve customer concerns professionally.

Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.

Store Maintenance & Organization

Stock and organize shelves, ensuring products are attractively displayed.

Assist with inventory management, including stock counts.

Keep the store clean and tidy, including floors, shelves, tables, and restrooms.

Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse area.

Events & Operations

Assist with in-store gaming events, tournaments, and community activities.

Help set up gaming tables and displays for scheduled events.

Communicate effectively with management regarding store needs or concerns.

Stay informed about the latest products, promotions, and company policies.

Monitor for potential theft and report any suspicious activities.

Qualifications

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge of trading card games (TCGs)—candidates should understand the general play mechanics of games like Pokémon, Magic : The Gathering, and others we carry.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Schedule & Availability

Starting pay : $15 / hour

Night and weekend availability is required.

The schedule can be firm but may vary based on the number of in-store events each week.
