The person in this position will work closely with internal departments, clinic sites, and the University Partners (UP). The ideal candidate will help foster successful clinical education experiences for students.

This role is hybrid for greater San Antonio based applicants and remote for non-San Antonio based applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)
The Clinical Education Specialist - ABSN Procurement focuses on identifying, engaging, and contracting inpatient and outpatient clinical sites across the United States to secure placements for Accelerated BSN students, while also recruiting clinical faculty, sourcing opportunities nationwide, and conducting cold outreach to expand placement networks.
Drive nationwide procurement of clinical site contracts and affiliation agreements to expand placement opportunities for the University Partner (UP) program.Develop and execute cold outreach campaigns targeting inpatient and outpatient facilities, hospitals, and healthcare systems across the U.S. to secure net-new clinical partnerships.Re-engage inactive or previously contacted sites to renew interest and convert leads into executed contracts.Serve as the point of contact between the UP legal team and clinical sites to move affiliation agreements through review and execution while maintaining compliance and required documentation.Maintain precise records of outreach efforts, site responses, contract statuses, and agreements within EIM's systems.Cultivate and sustain relationships with site administrators, preceptors, and key decision-makers to strengthen long-term partnerships and increase program capacity.Proactively monitor national trends in clinical site availability and identify opportunities to mitigate capacity risks and secure strategic placements. Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel using effective virtual meetings, email, and phone communication.Work with clinical sites in specific geographic regions.Working closely with UP to communicate procurement progress and align site development with placement needs.Partner with internal stakeholders (legal, compliance, faculty, and placement teams) to streamline contracting and onboarding processes.Maintain HIPAA & FERPA standards.Participate in meetings with UPs as required.Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)
The Clinical Education Specialist - ABSN Placement supports the Accelerated BSN program by coordinating and confirming student placements, maintaining site relationships, and ensuring compliance with all university partner (UP) and facility requirements.
Working closely with University Partner (UP) clinical education teams, coordinate student placements needed for each clinical education experience and submit required paperwork to clinical facilities for students' participation on a timely basis; input pertinent placement data in the Exxat system.Partner with clinical education specialist ABSN procurement colleagues to understand site contract status and capacity to optimize student placement matching.Maintain communication with current sites and keep site information up-to-date in the Exxat system.Cultivate and sustain relationships with site administrators, preceptors, and key decision-makers to strengthen long-term partnerships and increase program capacity.Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel using effective virtual meetings, email, and phone communication.Work with clinical sites in specific geographic regions.Work with UP clinical education teams to facilitate student-site interviews and site onboarding.Communicate with professionals in hospitals and clinics to coordinate clinical placements via Exxat, email, online application, phone, and / or in-person.Research, identify, and track all facility requirements at each clinical placement site and record facility requirements in EIM systems.Communicate confirmed or changed clinical placement agreements with all stakeholders.Monitor affiliation agreements with clinical facilities to ensure they are current.Match ABSN students to clinical sites for all required rotations and confirm placements with sites, preceptors, and students within designated timelines.Provide proactive communication and support to students regarding placement details, expectations, and site-specific requirements.Maintain HIPAA & FERPA standards.Participate in meetings with UPs as required.Qualifications
Education
College Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated skills of organization, data management administrative experience across technology, healthcare, or education sectors.Understanding of clinical placements in healthcare education.Ability to work effectively in a diverse multi-cultural environment.Experience with regulatory and / or accreditation policies preferred.Excellent organizational, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work effectively under pressure.Ability to lead by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.Self-starter who is able to work independently.Must be well organized and detail-oriented.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.Preferred : Familiarity with nursing student placement processes and clinical education requirements.
