Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Central Office Vouchering & Random Moment Survey Unit Account Technician. Under general supervision, this position will analyze and maintain the Department’s Random Moment Survey (RMS) accounting and reporting system. The position will also audits vouchers for assigned Department accounts to ensure compliance with rules and regulations promulgated by statute and external regulating agencies, as well as internal policies and procedures and contractual agreements. Additionally, the position will post coded vouchers to the online computerized accounting systems and determine cause for vouchers rejected by the computerized system and takes necessary action to resolve the problem. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is focused on ensuring that accounting processes are fulfilled in an efficient, effective manner.
