Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, performing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely alongside surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, positioning patients appropriately, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education initiatives

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required
