Manufacturing Quality Assurance Inspector
Location : Akron, OH | Team : Avalign Slice
Step into a day where precision leads the way. In our temperature-controlled facility, you’ll begin by reviewing control plans and material routing instructions, then move seamlessly from in-process audits on the floor to collaborating with engineering—always with the goal of safeguarding product quality and reliability.
A day in the life
- Work independently with detailed procedures, forms, and manuals guiding your performance.
- Conduct in-process audits, reviewing operator and process performance against specifications referenced in material routings.
- Leverage control plans, routing documentation, computer printouts, and Pareto charts to prioritize actions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas; confer with management and engineering to set and uphold quality and reliability standards.
- Test products for dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, and chemical characteristics.
- Record results and apply statistical quality control procedures to monitor trends and drive decisions.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, custom-product environment.
