Chief Accounting Officer

A company is looking for a Chief Accounting Officer to provide financial leadership and oversee accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and oversee all accounting and control functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Provide strategic direction and leadership for financial reporting processes and risk mitigation

Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team while ensuring data integrity and audit readiness

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 15+ years of accounting leadership experience in public companies

Experience as a Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller, or in senior deputy controllership positions preferred

Strong academic credentials with an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business required

CPA certification is required; M.B.A. is advantageous

Experience in leading and transforming accounting functions in large, complex organizations
