Care Career is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Location : Fredericksburg, VA

Shift : 3x12 Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Schedule : Every other weekend + every other holiday

On-Call : Possible mandatory on-call (3 shifts per 6 weeks)

Guaranteed Hours : Based on facility policy

First-Time Travelers : Accepted

Locals : Accepted

Job Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 4+ years (charge experience required)
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS (can start with pending), VA License, CRTT
  • Preferred : RRT, experience in NICU, ED, Adult ICU
  • Travel Experience : Required

    • Job Duties

  • Perform airway management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, CPAP / BiPAP, nebulizer treatments
  • Provide aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, lung expansion treatments
  • Assist with intubations and extubations
  • Float to ER, Adult ICU, Stepdown as needed
  • Participate in department meetings (or review and acknowledge minutes)
